never, and lates

ends and nevers

i shouldn't have put this as my opening photo, seeing as how it gives away the surprise for tomorrow night...but consider it a preview for tomorrow night's festivities for all of my loyal readers! (in case you've been sleeping under a rock for the past few weeks, this is my official "fuck you bitches, i'm leaving" t shirts i had made for tomorrow night's ssspecial occassion!!)

today was surprisingly hard; i hadn't anticipate just how i was going to feel saying 'goodbye' to my access crew. i mean, you spend 8 hours (sometimes more) with all these people every day...that's more than i see my family for shitsakes!!! you can't help but become accustomed to seeing them...and therefore they will be surely missed!

they got me a cake, and had a little party...complete with cards (that i won't read till tomorrow seeing as how they started to make me cry today while i was still at work...and i just don't feel strong enough to read them just as of yet).

this has been an extremely hard few weeks...while i was knee-deep in astronomy over the last 6 weeks i was able to push these feelings aside, thinking that i'll just deal with them later...later, eh? well that 'later' is now!! and i still don't feel ready for it.

i know it's time, i know it's right...this new chapter is starting with or without me and my proverbial train is leaving in just a few short days. only 3 days and 8 long (sure to be stressful) hours are keeping me from my new life...so as i take a deep breath, i prepare myself for the chaos that is sure to be my going-away party, and my new adventureand future career that's staring me in the eyes...

...i think i may need a push!

da look

DA LOOK

so last year the look was "boho chic" for all the men/women about town...you know you've seen it; the bangles, the long necklaces, the flowing street-sweeper skirts, and don't forget the oversize sunglasses.

i loved this look, i thought it was very mother-earthy, flower child, but with a touch of class. think black market skirts matched with a pair of vintage dior sunglasses.

this year, i've been spotting much of the same, but a little more hippie! i'm calling it 'hippie chick'. feel free to spread it around like wild fire...or maybe i should say 'petchulie fire'. think of hippie print headbands, same flowing skirts, less jewelry, more tunic style tops, and bright bright colors. the oversize frames are still in vogue, but less huge, and more shield-style.

here's a photo of nicole richie who's look i'm totally digging these days...minus the itty-bitty frame.

and speaking of her itty bitty frame...i'm never one to call someone overweight, just as i'd never call someone 'skinny', because being small myself i know just how much it can easily be interpreted as offensive and derogatory. but nicole, seriously i think we need to have a talk; from one 'skinny' to another...from the looks of this picture below, i think she seriously has a problem.

i'm glad she's not hiding behind hideously oversized frocks to mask her beyond petite frame, a la mary kate olsen...but on the other hand, someone should intervene. i loves me some nicole, but girlfriend could use to put on a few pounds!

hang in there missy! the gays are still behind ya!!

vamped and reconnected

vamped and reconnected

well i've been thinking of revamping my blog skin, and well here it is...it totally reminds me of "evolve", but also of just the state of mind i'm currently in...i think it depicts a very free yet focused, earthy, fun-loving, hippie kind of being. sometimes we need to just stop thinking, stop beating a dead horse, stop worrying about the small stuff...and just be!

while on the topic of 'just being', it came to me today just how much i really need to reconnect with myself right now...do you know what i mean? blake and i went out for a really long time; on and off for about a year, and then strong for a year and a bit...and since him i've seemed to survive train wreck after train wreck, and every time it seems like i've been giving a little bit of myself to these boys, and not really getting them back! it's like i've been trying to fill a void that i started feeling when i lost a bit of who i was after blake and i ended. after a relationship ends, you can't help but lose a bit of yourself when you part ways with that person; cause even if it ends on good terms...you'll never be that person again, no matter how small the change is.

and well, i really haven't taken any time for ME lately...i've been all about the other people, completely ignoring just exactly what i want and what's important to me in a relationship. so what better time to reconnect with myself then with a change of scenery! and that's exactly what i'm gonna do...obviously i'm going to maine for school, and to begin this new chapter in my life...but i'm also going to find myself again...

could i sound more oprah-like tonight?

enjoy the new skin kids...lemme know what you think!

things i'm gonna miss about halifax...

1. MY FRIENDS; you are my life, my heartbeat, my other half...the thought of not being able to see all your faces takes my breath away. things just won't be the same without ALL of you...

2. my parents; second to none...you have supported me (the way parents usually do) through all my trials and tribulations...i'm going to miss you're nagging...

3. downtown halifax; besides montreal, you were my first experience in the downtown drinking world/dating world...you popped my cherry, and took my innocence away...and made me who i am today...

4. access nova scotia; i've never stayed at a job as long as i've stayed at access...i've made a lot of friends, most for life...and had A LOT of laughs...you really brought me out of my shell, and helped me become the fantastic gay man i am today! to think, i started there still *somewhat* liking girls?!? (aka i was still becoming who i am...)

5. suburbia; i spent the majority of my life in the suburbs...born and raised into suburban middle class living...and i've gotten used to it! condos, pools, spoiled little brats/savages all around you...and a peaceful sunny atmosphere! and don't forget about the midnight skinny dips!!!

6. tim horton's coffee; i know, i know...i should hate it...it's a disappointment to the coffee world in general, and there's sooo much better out there. but when you drink 2 cups of the shit a day...it can't help but grow on you...mmm...caffeine...

7. HOTT boys; you know what, when you're staring up from inside the gutter, with pieces of your heart on the floor in front of you, you can't help but think that you're surrounded by dogs (and i don't mean puppies)...but when you pick yourself up, brush off the sludge from your boot cut gap jeans, and take a look around, you just might realize that this city is chalked full of HOTT, HOTTY, HOTT guys!!!! they're everywhere!! from sitting next to you on the bus, to standing in your lineup at work! take a look around!! trust me, they're there...i've dated just about half of them!!

8. the ocean; yeah i know that there are other beaches all over the world, but when you grew up around beautiful bodies of water like i have (from halifax's beautiful lakes and beaches to the pools of suburbia) the thought of being hours and hours away from sand just brings a tear to my eye...i live a life aquatic, and will never be far from it...and while in maine, it'll be in my heart! don't worry water, i'll be back!!!

9. my friends; wait, did i already say this one? well i can't stress it enough...i think in life you know when you've found someone who'll always be in your heart...no matter how many miles lie between you...cause you're not worried about leaving them. and while i'm totally not afraid of leaving my friends behind, (cause i know that we will always be together), i will MISS them with every ounce of my being...i've been so blessed to be able to surround myself with the most loving group of beautiful people out there, and each and everyone of them is irreplacable, and will always be in my heart...you're my everything, and we've TRULY been THROUGH EVERYTHING; from heart break, to heart ache...from sickness, to health...from laughs to tears...from successes, to failures...and i'll never forget one second of it...

10. the good times; halifax has brought me the most wonderful, unforgettable, memorable, fantastic, sad, happy, exciting, thought provoking, educational, tricky, challenging, enjoyable, pleasurable, sexual, confusing, drunken, high, low, maddening, attractive, BEAUTIFUL times of my life...

and i couldn't be happier.

halifax, you will always be beautiful...take care of my babies! you will certainly be missed!

cheers to many more fantastic years to come!!

glad he doesn't know i ate pills on saturday night...jeez...

it almost doesn't seem fair...the universe brings someone to you, and then takes him away...it throws you a bone, and then takes it away just as quickly...what's the point? i mean you spend all this time wondering what's the point in meeting someone who makes you feel the way you've anticipated feeling, and how you thought you 'd feel when you met HIM...and then all of a sudden it's over...and the world makes sense again...before you know it, everything clouds over, leaving you more confused than before.

when something doesn't work out, you can't help but blame yourself...as if it's always your fault, and then you start recounting all the things that you might have done over differently if given the chance...then it strikes you that even if you had done those things differently, you might still end up where you are right now... so what to do? should it be you who changes? or do we just end up looking for love in all the wrong places?

you can't help but start reconsidering who you are, and just what you give to someone else...should you open up so early? or should you keep certain things to yourself? is it too late? can you recover? will he forgive you for things you're too embaressed to even say out loud? or will he understand?

now factor in distance, now what? as if it's not tragic enough to have to say goodbye to someone you love as a friend...what happens when you say goodbye to a lover? dare i ask him to wait? or is it even worth my breath?

whatever the result, the party will go on...

DRESS TO KILL, lovas...

and again i give my ode to my bitches:

HERE'S TO THE MEN WHO WE LOVE,
HERE'S TO THE MEN WHO LOVE US,
BUT THE MEN WHO WE LOVE, WILL NEVER LOVE US,
SO FUCK ALL THE MEN, HERE'S TO US!!!!

moon in taurus

this is so me it's eery:

Sexy and sensual, the Venus ruled sign of Taurus luxuriates in the tactile and sensuous. You are generally emotionally stable and strong, forming loyal bonds of friendship. Any change can be seen as a threat, as stability and continuity are vital, bringing a desire for traditional values and outmoded ways of being. Sometimes, a perceived threat can bring out your jealous side, as you will do anything to preserve what you already have. You are even known to test relationships to see if they stand up to a challenge. You just have to feel very secure! And you will put up with more than most, rather than give up at the first hurdle

just my luck

well it would be in typical form if this were to be the case for me; since my last A.D.D with craig (Another Dating Disaster) crashed and burned like so many times before, i've been somewhat surfing the single wave...and digging it...realizing that i'm leaving soon, and there's not much point in starting something with someone, and then having to end it abruptly when the time came to move to maine.

BUT then the universe throws me a freakin' bone (and hopefully a boner) in the form of a certain prince charming (with a fantastic taste in shoes) last night, who i've since dubbed "Mr. Transit" and now i'm all confused again.

it's like when carrie met burger and had that wonderful first 'date' with him, only to find out that he had a girlfriend...i mean what's the point in meeting someone like that if they're not available?!? right??

and so i've been *somewhat* single for the last little while, wishing and hoping *in vain* for a summer fling to come my way, to officially wipe the "zsa zsa zsu gone bad" memories of last summer off my mind for good...and i got nothing!!!

NOW, after the countdown has begun, a month to go, in the middle of my summer courses, and NOW i meet someone?!?!?!?!??

WHAT THE FUCK??????? where was this a few months ago??????

and it's someone who i actually (unoficially) met quite a few months ago when i registered his vehicle and changed his driver's licence over from nb at work...

you know, it just goes to show how you should always jump at these chances when they present themselves to you in the first place...cause maybe that would have given us more time (than a month) to actually 'date' before i pack up for the states. if i wasn't such a pussy...grrr...

well date #1 is going to take place tomorrow night nevertheless...so stay tuned, and wish me luck!

*sigh*

stars in my eyes

we know that i'm not usually one for recaps, but i can't help myself today; last night was SOOOOOO much fun! best night out i've had in forever! the fashion show was fantastic, a little shorter than i thought it was going to be, but unbelievable to say the least! i even got to talk with sunny d about doing my going away party, but i think he's busy that night...but oh,well!

then of course we ended up at reflections...where i proceeded to have the best dancing night i've had in a looong time! i even met a new boy and gave my sweet precious digits away!!!!

so to wrap up my Pride Week 2006 entries, i just wanted to comment on the success of the whole week! hope all ya'll had a rockin' night aswell!

the only thing i wished i had done but didn't, was skinny dip when i got home, which was my original plan...

too chilly, and didn't want to freeze the boys off!!

enjoy your hangovers kiddies!

i'm out.

one 4 ma fella's

keeping with the theme of the week, i thought ma boyz needed a little pick as their shoutout during this lovely Pride Week, to keep on livin' proud and LOUD!!!!

and i had to comment on my (new) obsession: rock star; supernova...i hope everyone's taken my advice and started tuning in to the greatest rock show EVA!!!

but seriously, i'm totally digging this show...it's got everything to guarantee one HOTT summer sizzler of a success!!! and i can't keep my eyes off it! i already have my favorites, and it's already SOOO tough to pick who should go home every week, cause you can't help but appreciate a little sommething in everyone!

i honestly think it's gonna come down to Dilana (the craaazy goth chick from africa who kills EVERY week), and Toby (the HOTT australian surfer who makes my knees weak) and Lukas (a fellow Canuck, but who's voice i'm not that into...and who strikes me as a fuckin' ass...) but it is rock n' roll afterall, who knows what'll happen!

i can't wait till next week already!!! eeeeep!

blue eyed blonde surfer dudes

this is a little bit of a shout-out to the fabulous miss ashley, and her 'possibly' new 'hott' surfer roommate!!

i have a question for all ya'll; why is it that that surfer dude stereotype is soooo sexy??? honestly, just look at this guy...you can't say he isn't gorgeous. blonde hair, blue eyes, built physique...and he surfs!! every year around this time, you start to see more of them, you know the type; board shorts in trendy flowerprint/hawaiian motif, flip-flops, tanned skin, jack johnson spilling out the windown of his vintage ride complete with surfboard rack on top no matter the season!!

and it never gets tired!!! i don't know about you, but i swoooon every time i run into someone like this. some trends will come and go, but surfer dudes never go out of style!

so what is it about this lifestyle/look that's so appealing? i mean besides the way he looks, what else is there? is it the glorious sounding lifestyle of a bonafide "sunchaser"? wake up at dawn, paddle out into the ocean to catch a few waves, sand always underfoot, the salt water in your hair...you can't say it doesn't sound appealing.

and they're always so laidback, you know what i mean? always easygoing, good taste in music/clothes, usually friendly drinkers, and always good to the environment...they have to respect mother nature, afterall they swim in her greatest accomplishment!

it's times like these that i wish i lived somewhere a tad bit more tropical, where this lifestyle/type of guy is all there is out there!! sure they may all be permanently fried from all the sun they get, and they may all be blonde imitations of eachother...but i'm sure there's a few brunettes out there, or even a redhead for those of you who like it fiesty!

so let's take a moment shall we, and toast to all the surfers out there; may you forever ride the waves and have the sand beneath your feet!

maybe it's the fact that the board almost acts as a phallic symbol??

ahh fuck it...just enjoy!

afterall, it's summer!

you make me wanna la la

i think it was last weekend when it actually hit me; we were at christina's engagement party, and it actually came to me...wow, i'm among the 3 only single people here!!

it was somewhat eye-opening, and sad at the same time...i mean there was MARRIED couples there??? a few of them, not just one or two, PLURAL married couples!!! and granted it was an engagement party, yes...but seriously though! you can't help but think; where did i take a wrong turn?

what happened along the way?? this time last year, i was knee deep in my 'summer of love' with a boy who i actually thought might be my "you-know-what"...and when that didn't work out...well, i'm not saying there weren't (failed) attmepts, cause there has been! there's been quite a few, unsuccessful ones, yes...but still attempts...

i think when we hit a certain age, we start seeing our life from a different perspective. a futuristic one. maybe it doesn't look the way we thought it might when we were in highschool. maybe we haven't hit that point that we assumed we would. maybe we haven't found that person we thought we might have...

and i don't know about you, but i'm almost happy i haven't! cause what do those people who seem to know all the answers have to look forward to??

i've just started to realize that we have to stop living by other people's standards. you're the only one who matters...and my big problem is that i've always let other people dictate how i *think* i should be living. when where i am is exactly where i should be. i've done everything right, and even though i may not be as progressed along my path as others around me, and even though i may not have a giant ROCK on my left ring finger, and even though i'm not living in some expensive apartment...THAT'S OK!!!! everyone's life is different, and i'm fuckin' ecstatic that i've done the things i have done.

so next time you rethink something because it may not be what you've seen your friends do, or when you rethink an outfit to wear out on a saturday night cause someone questioned it's coolness...just remember these words;

this is YOUR life...how do YOU want to live it?

gorgeous.

loves the shuff

what's on your iPod right now???

1. "sexyback" justin timberlake (song of the summer...you must have it...now.)

2. "a public affair" jessica simpson (the other song of the summer...seriously.)

3. "deja vu" beyonce (retardedly cool track)

4. "me and you" cassie (loves it)

5. "chelsea" stefy (kinda sounds like 'sweet dreams')

6. "candyman" christina aguilera (look for it, if it was meant to be, you'll find it...ie it's new)

7. "stars are blind" paris hilton (you know you want it...)

just a hint kids...download at will.

oh.my.god

just a quickie before i go to bed...uh, if you haven't seen rockstar supernova yet...TUNE THE FUCK IN!!!

we all know how HOTT i am for tommy lee...well throw in dave navarro (number 3 on my spank bank list) teamed up with the ever lovely brooke burke as hosts...and jason newstead (of metallica fame) and gilby clarke (from guns n roses to name a few) and one of rolling stone's top rated producers of 2006...

AND don't forget to add in the hott-ass group of hardcore rockers all vying to be the new lead singer for "supernova", (the next superstar-formed rock band)...

AND YOU HAVE YOURSELF ONE HELLOVA GOOD TIME!!!

seriously folks, i had fuckin' goosebumps the whole time...it's unbelievable! the energy, the style, the ROCK!!!!

if you're a fan of rock then you owe it to yourself to watch!

you can thank me later! i seriously am so excited about this show this summer, that i think i just came on my laptop!

mr doucette

well since we're coming off a long canada day weekend, i felt it right to send a shout-out to a fellow canadian in the spotlight right now!

this is chad doucette, currently one of the top 9 male finalists on the canadian idol countdown this year! and not only is this junior hotty a canuck, but he's from nova scotia. east chezzetcook, apparently...wherever that is, i'm assuming the sticks!!

and not only is he beautiful, but he totally just sang one of my top favorite songs "save the last dance for me", which was just recently redone by another canadian singing sensation michael buble (who i'm also quite a fan of).

who knew there were so many hot canadian boys out there???

but seriously, i've been tuning into the show just to see him perform...if only he was a little older...hey, the last few i've dated were older, so why not someone younger???? ...no but really, he has a wonderful stage presence, a rockin' voice for someone his age (i'm not telling you how young) and he just may have what it takes to wow the country!

check him out for yourself!

this is why i can NEVER have a sidekick

so yesterday, my mother was watching me vacuum...she was just making sure i was doing it correctly...(stop laughing cause you know it's true), my phone beeped and i actually picked it up and started texting...

now if that's not problematic, i don't know what is! texting is a disease people!! i warn you now! if you don't do it (you don't text??? what's wrong with you people??) don't start!!!!!

i text in the bathroom, in the bar, on the bus, waiting in lines, walking the dogs, while i'm even freakin' vacuuming!!!! that's just not cool. if my phone was ever to break, like the time the space button and the send button got stuck, i almost lost my mind!!!!

but just look at the beautiful sidekick...maybe now that i'm going to be living in the states i can get one...hmmm...

uh oh...this is not a good side of me.

chapters

after a lovely weekend of engagement parties and dancing with certain special someones (who i still wish would open up to me a little more, hint hint H.C) tomorrow i start my summer courses.

yes, that's right tomorrow i rejoin the poor student section of our fare society; the land of loans, coffee addicts, and all-night study sessions. it's funny comparing this time with my first university experience. i mean, i did pretty well without ever really trying that hard. i mean, we seriously partied during my first four years...sure we slowed down a bit near the end, but all in all we were fairly hardcore!!

tomorrow officially marks a new chapter in this (sometimes) rocky road towards (dare i say it) adulthood, and not to mention a career to go with that stage. i've been feeling lately like it's time to put away old tired toys, and start working towards a future goal.

i mean, look where i went saturday night; (before the dancing) i was in the 'engagement' section of the hallmark store...buying a card for my best friend!!! does anybody else feel like they're on the slow bus to school?!?

no, i'm exaggerating...seriously though, i love my life. i love where it is, i love where it's been, and i love where it's taking me.

but i can't say it's not a little frightening aswell as exciting, all at the same time.

so as of tomorrow, i'm starting my new role as stargazer (the ones in the sky this time for my astronomy course) and business associate (stupid economics).

wish me luck!!

i heart h.c 4 eva

both in disguise,
we met one night,
perhaps by chance,
always thinking we might.

forver 'hung up',
always wanting to,
dancing together,
till the night was through.

so much attention,
that was paid,
but something stopping,
never getting laid,

more than that,
kisses so sweet,
wandering hands,
oh what a treat.

after all this time,
so dear to me,
never will forget,
why can't i see.

always in my heart,
never just a toy,
the sweetest person,
my little cowboy.

insane in the membrane

it's truly hard to type with two sleeping puppies stretched out in your lap in a single little desk chair...but i'm going to try my best. i never imagined that they would BOTH want to be in my lap every time i sat at the computer desk (now that i have one to sit at) but they do!! surprise, surprise eh?

anywho, this is criss angel aka mindfreak!(retardedly sexy, i know). i'm sure most of you have already heard of him, (meaning he's no newcommer to the scene) but i just couldn't help but dedicate a post to this INSANE man. my parentals have just come across a dvd that is filled with HOURS and HOURS of "mindfreak" his 'houdini-like' illusion show. and i've been hooked all over again on this crazy dude.

this man, i don't even know where to start...must be freakin' possessed or something. take this for an example; i just watched him DRINK a shot glass filled with wine and 4 pins. THEN he proceeds to eat a long string...can you guess where this is going??

so he then pulls the first needle out of his fuckin' belly button...attached to the first one, ofcourse, is the string that has the other 3 needles strung along it...

isnt' that RETARDED crazy??? other feats i've seen him perform is levitation on a complete stranger in the middle of a park!!! he's also lit himself on fire and then when being put out, has completely dissappeared!!!!

i've always been a fan of the unexplainable...magic tricks, illusionists, even the mere juggler can set me into a tizzy!!! but this man has it all!! just look at him! now only is he rockin' hawt, but he's incredibly talented and mindboggling!

i suggest you tune into his show, or download some of his tricks...he truly is unexplainable!

happening

summer has sprung, but to me it almost brings a sigh of sadness to my breath...it's happening...to me, it's happening!! i have to pinch myself every now and then just to bring me back to my parent's basement!!

my courses are starting soon, and everytime i close my eyes at night it brings me one day closer to THE day that i have to pack up and leave.

i've been on a constant search for an apartment for what seemes like forever now, and it's been the thing on my mind that has had me most worried. but i recently actually found a place that just may be where i lay my head for the next year of my life...hard to believe, i know.

i was most concerned due to the fact that over the past three years i've created a certain type of situation for myself (having adopted two dogs) and i have been absolutely one hundred percent terrified that i wouldn't find a home that would allow such a lifestyle, and would basically be shit outta luck...seriously, i would rather not go to maine than not be able to bring my dogs. i know it may sound silly, but i'm dead serious.

these animals are my life, they're my children, my joy, my heart...and the thought of not being able to...i don't even want to type it...is just not an option.

but thankfully, i think i've found a place that will support the little lifestyle that i've got going...and i couldn't be happier...

so it's happening...i keep asking myself if i'm ready, and i'm not sure if i'll ever know the answer to that. is anyone ever ready to leave the land they have called home for their entire life??? when do you ever know these things are right? i've spent 25 years here with the assumption that one day i would pick my life up and take it elsewhere to pursue what it will become.

i've watched those close to me do it...and now suddenly it's my turn!! this is not necessarilly where i pictured myself being, this time last year. but i'm so glad it is.

i just hope i have what it takes to do it.

i wasn't going to blog about the dolls, but then i fell in love with their single "buttons" and couldn't help myself!! the reason i was initially against this imposter 'pussycat dolls' group, is because as soon as they appeared in the media everyone assumed they were this brand NEW girl-group with their new innovative sound and sexy look...BUT really, the FIRST TRUE and REAL pussycat dolls aren't a band at all...

The Pussycat Dolls, recognized as "L.A.'s hottest cabaret ticket" by People magazine, is a burlesque flavored revue which debuted at Johnny Depp's Viper Room in 1995. Since then it has sold out a series of shows at the Roxy and spiced up such fetes as the Elton John/InStyle Oscar party & Opening act for Janes Addiction.

While attracting such guest performers as Christina Aguilera, Charlize Theron, Gwen Stefani, Dita Von Teese, Brittany Murphy and Christina Applegate, it has also lured such star attendees as Dave Navarro, Marilyn Manson, Leo DiCaprio, Heather Graham, David Spade, Gene Simmons and Hugh Hefner.

The Pussycat Dolls are choreographed by top choreographer, Robin Antin & it's performed by a bevy of sultry, dolled-up, cut-and-pasted women headlined by Carmen Electra. Carmen Electra is a hip-shimmying, underwear-sporting member of the 1940s-inspired cabaret dance group the Pussycat Dolls. ... Electra's routines include the 'Big Spender' opening number as well as a duet to Bjork's 'It's Oh So Quiet' and a sultry cigarette-smoking number set to Henry Mancini's 'Pink Panther' theme.

i don't know if you've ever seen any of their performances, but you should totally check them out. they're HOTT!! 'pussycat' stands for the sexual side of the women, ie the burlesque, hip grinding aspect of the show, and 'doll' stands for the more innocent side to a woman.

THEN this silly little, media-pleasing-aimed-at-prepubescent boys group came out, called themselves "the pussycat dolls" and totally changed/ruined the image that the ORIGINAL dolls had sought out to establish!!! whadupwithat????

not ONE of the original doll girls are in the band...in fact the only thing that the two have in common, is their name!!!

HOWEVER, like i said earlier their work is pretty catchy. "don't cha" was their first, followed by the shitty/mediocre "stickwit you". "beep" is fantastic, and so is "buttons" (such simple titles!!) and they do a killer swanky, sultry, loungish version of "sway" that you just HAVE to download.

so i guess they're not so bad...just in comparaison to the orignal ladies!

AND the fact that i've paid for the silly thing outta my own money, is a definite bonus...

irina

this is irina...there's no real point to me posting a picture of her on my blog except that i came across her and couldn't resist.

she's very interesting isn't she? i'm thinking of having her as the mascot for "dressed to kill" ****details to come****

apparently she's a toy...created by fafi...why don't i just let you read about this peculiar creation for yourself!!

Fafi is strong presence in the graffiti and fine art scenes who is known for her images of sexy and liberated girls. On walls or in paintings, her girls can be funny, sexy, or aggressive. By exploring femininity through stereotypes and using it to her advantage, Fafi creates girls who are both powerful and active.

Fafi has completed murals throughout the world, often with fellow graffitti artist Tilt, in places such as the United States (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco), Japan, Germany, Belgium, Tunsia, Spain, Canada, and Hong Kong. In December 2002, Sony released her time-capsule toy set featuring six of her characters. In addition to being in numerous magazines, her first book, Girls Rock , was published earlier this year. She is also active with her clothing line of shirts and handbags and has been featured in MTV Europe's style show "Mash" and in such style bibles as The Face and Italian Vogue magazines.

Irina is our first Fafi figure

now is she sucking on the skulls?? or blowing them...either way i bet they're gettin' off...

hard

r u ready 4 it?

do u want it?

details to cum...stay tuned...

sexy buttons

this is a total fluff entry today, i just finished watching the movie "waiting" (photo down below) starring the elusively sexxxy mister ryan reynolds (pictured left) and i just HAD to dedicate today's post to this handsome canuck (i can't believe i just used that term...)

ryan reynolds is DEFINITELY the sexiest thing to hit hollywood from this fair country in a long loooong time!

this made in canada sex muffin comes straight from vancouver, b.c. you may recognize him from such films as van wilder, the amityville horror, blade: trinity, or from (his first BIG recognizable break) the hit tv show "two guys a girl and a pizza place". (short lived comedy, but still a goody!)

as i was saying i recently saw him in "waiting", the story of a group of fictional restaurant employees and their zany and fuckin' nasty restaurant experiences! (warning: you may NEVER eat out again after this flick...)

my boyfriend ryan reynolds also just recently broke off his engagement with the queen of irony (and fellow canadian) alanis morissette. they were cute together, but a tad mismatched in my opinion. (maybe that's why it didn't work...just a guess!)

his comedy comes naturally in every role he takes on, and there's no denying the physical appeal behind this studly boytoy.

here he is in a screen cap from "waiting", pictured alongside (the ever so cute) justin long.

*sigh*

my girl jenna's # 1

we all know how much i LOVE/am obsesed with jenna jameson...and it turns out YOU all are too!!

check out my girl jenna taking over the internet: (direct from hollywoodtuna.com)

Britney Spears’ woes are taking their toll on her popularity. The “Oops, I Did It Again” singer was displaced by porn star Jenna Jameson in a poll as the most searched celeb on the Internet. “After three years at number one, Britney Spears is no longer the most popular peach on the Internet."

GO TEAM JENNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

loves it

dirrty love

i was telling melanie last night that whenever i used to go to the video store i used to always gravitate towards the lesser known titles; you know the more independant movies (they had to have big celeb names in them but they were usually not released in theatres; ie movies that celebs made while on hiatus from bigger projects that went straight to video.)

now in my experience these flicks were usually packed full of personality, just weren't total hollywood blockbusters!

when i worked at the video store and got to rent them all for free, i never hesitated when it came to picking them out...and every now and then i'd be dissappointed and pick a shitty one...but more often than not i'd get lucky and rent one that would quickly become one of my favorites of all time!! (for example; "splendor" was a relatively unknown movie, and i rented it and TOTALLY fell in love.)

so while perusing my friendly neighbourhood cockbuster, i mean 'blockbuster' (an ex used to call it that, and it kinda stuck!) i found "dirty love" starring everyone's favorite jenny mccarthy and couldn't resist.

it's the story of a beautiful young lady in L.A. who gets dumped by her model boyfriend, (after she walks in on him doing the horizontal mumbo with another hussy) and during her quest for revenge against the male giggolo she ends up meeting an assortment of colorful characters that comprise the l.a. dating market!!

along for the ride are carmen electra playing the most hilarious 'wannabe black girl' that i've ever seen, and the chick from "psycho beach party" who played bettina barnes (couldn't put my finger on who she was until the very end!!) and 'shitbrick' from american pie as jenny's "white pony" (inside joke)

you HAVE to see this movie, it's an unbelievably funny depiction of just how fuckin' nutty the dating world can be, and just how many freaks there are out there...and ps, we're all part of that group...as the heroin of the story finds out, we just have to find the freak out there who's freakish soul shines just as bright as ours does!!

(and as a slutty side note; jenny mccarthy's model boyfriend is played by victor webster, who is all kinds of HOTT...this is him in the bottom picture...that is the one in the camo tank!! incase you couldn't figure that out!!)
