fake n' bake

shouldn't it be bake n' fake...instead of the other way around? cause really when you think about it, you bake first...then by baking in a fake manner, you end up fakin' it...right?

have you ever considered why having tanned skin is so desired? what is it about having a little bit of a glow to your appearance that society finds so alluring? and it doesn't even have to be a real glow. it can be sprayed on, rubbed on, pasted on, burned on...even tanning by osmosis in those silly little tanning beds with fake uv rays is considered beautiful!

is it merely an esthetic thing? let's face it, having a tan looks healthy. the skin looks alive and radiant, and full of energy.

think about it, when the human being orgasms there is an increased level of blood flow to the face, causing one to blush uncontrollably. this 'blush' is the natural reaction the body has to being turned on, therefore it makes sense for us to be attracted to someone with color. the female baboon's bum becomes engorged and turns a bright shade of red when she's in heat, therefore allerting all the male baboon's that she's in her prime.

so as you can see, even the most primitive primates are attracted to color in some way, shape or form. we've just taken it to the next level!!

in my opinion having tanned skin reminds everyone of summer, and since we all make such positive associations with summertime, it's no wonder we all enjoy having a glow about us!

so i guess in conclusion we can sum up that having a tan not only reminds us of everyone's favourite season, but appears healthy, and brings us back to the way we appear during sex...

does that cover everything?

♪get out there and enjoy, people! surf's up!!♪
