paradise

what's your idea of paradise? of a utopia? the perfect world...is there such a thing? and if there is, wouldn't it make sense if everyone's perception of this 'flawless place' were the same?

i guess it all comes down to priorities. but you'd think that in the grand scheme of things everyone would want the same things for the world, right? so by that rationality, wouldn't paradise be the same for everyone? well the short answer is no.

as much as everyone would wish for world peace and equality, if granted 3, the last one or two wishes might be debatable.

my idea of paradise, comes down to a sunny climate, where i could hear the roar of the ocean all day, in a peaceful area that was never drab...where pineapples grew from every tree, and strawberry fields bloomed in everyone's backyard. the waters would always be warm, and the sunsets would be pink. the biggest decision we would have to make all day, would be from where do we watch the sunset? everyone would have a friend, and always have enough to be happy. every person you passed on the street would be humming a sweet little tune that would remind you of your childhood. dogs would be allowed in every store, and would never make a mess where they weren't supposed to. every night people would gather at an old-fashioned drive-in and watch old movies, while holding hands and eating popcorn (which would always be free). we would always be able to sleep in, and appointments would never start before 11 am...alarm clocks would not exist, instead we'd wake up to the sound of the waves against the rocks, and the sun shining in through our window...music would be playing everywhere, and every time you walked out the door, you'd hear that song that you hadn't heard in ages...and it would bring a smile to your face. there'd be smily faces everywhere; on the face of your coffee cup, in the shop windows, and painted on the streets...and in turn you'd have to smile back at them whenever you saw them! there would be no violence, for everyone would be content. and to put it simply, nations of different shapes, colors, sizes, religions, orientations, and personality's would just...get along!

that's just a little bit about my paradise...i'm sure i could go on and on...but in the essence of time.

does anybody else feel really relaxed suddenly?
